Wednesday 7 June Cherokee Landing

It was light at 4.30am and the sun was up at 5. Our campsite gets the morning sun and today there is an abundance of it : )  Deer are enjoying the sunshine in the meadow.

This morning is pretty much following the usual routine, multiple cups of tea, breakfast (yummy raspberries), a board meeting over coffee to plan activities for the day, which today is a walk along the nature trail. We were told there are foxes here!  Look at this:



The humidity has been chased away by a slightly cooler northerly breeze, very welcome!  The afternoon was pleasantly spent at the pool until it was time to regroup for HH – had Margarita’s tonight.

Another grill fire tonight to cook dinner which was followed up by sticky marshmallows melted over the embers – mm mm!

Thursday, 19 October – Houston TX to Wellington NZ

Yay, today we go home!  Well not until 9pm tonight actually, so first a visit to the Outlet Mall I think : )  Need to fill in the day someh...
