First off all the birds here don’t know it is night time,
they sung all night long!! There must
have been a couple of different varieties of our feathered friends as there were various tunes being
sung.
We were woken early by an amazing thunder and lightning
display. Our phones automatically txt us
with any weather alerts in the area and our NOAA (National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration) Radio kicks into life when there are severe weather
warnings so we are well forewarned of any weather events. It wasn’t a biggie, just a short little storm
and all over in a couple of hours. The
rain just helped to wash the dust off the RV.
The sun was out not long after and we headed into Rusk for
the cotter pins etc. to finish fixing the steering. We also stopped off at $ Tree (I love this
store – everything is a dollar – plus tax) and our old fave Walmart before
heading back to camp mid afternoon in time for a swim and a relax by the
pool. Thanks for taking us into town again
Larry!
Lois made us her famous ‘Lois Fried Chicken’ for dinner
followed by Kahlua served over vanilla icecream – yum yum! We are being totally spoiled : )
Nothing nicer than a liqueur over ice cream (and berries of course). Might have some for dinner too!
