Tuesday, 5 September - Beaver Lake, AR

It was a lovely night - nearly a full moon, it was bright.  About 3am the wind came up and the waves lapped at the shore.  A nice breeze comes through the windows so we can turn the fan off.

We even have a sleep in this morning, ‘cos we can.  It’s a little overcast and hasn’t quite warmed up yet so we can take our time getting organised today : )

The breeze stays up most of the day but the sun shows it’s smiley face.  Not as much activity on the Lake today.  I guess it’s a work day for most.

The Ranger still hasn’t been to collect our money but the Camp Host came to have a chat and to let us know where she was in case we need anything – she was very friendly.

A few cars drive around the camp, either just looking or looking for a campsite.  Our neighbours seem to have gone for a day or so, haven’t seen them since yesterday afternoon.

I go for a walk around the camp and over the causeway for some exercise. Guess what - squirrels can fly!!

Woohoo, go squirrel and don't touch the ground!!

Another beautiful sunset at Beaver Lake
Also we have another amazing sunset and the moon is one day off full.  Look out for any weirdo’s!!
