Ditto! Eat, swim, read, drink, eat and bed. Did laundry again today, towels and sheets
over in the laundry room ($1.50/wash and $1.25/dry) and the clothes in the
coach. I love the feel of fresh sheets -
when I grow up and have a maid I am going to sleep in clean sheets every night!!
Wish we could send some of our
hot, calm summer weather back home to NZ where they have endured a really bad
storm. In Wellington, ferries, flights
and trains are cancelled, wind gusts of 160kmh recorded at Mt Kaukau, power out
in a lot of the area and did I mention cold! Earthquakes too! Sorry guys, hope you are all OK!
We were hoping to hook up with
Helen and John while we were both over this side of US, but they are still nearly
500 miles away, about 10 hours driving (in the wrong direction) so we suggested they check out some flights to around Washington DC and come spend a few days with us in the
coach and we will get a rental car and do
some sightseeing together. However they
have plans which don’t leave them much free time between now and when they
leave for home so we will look forward to catching up back home.
These are our new faves, frozen
cocktail slushies – perfect on a hot summers day!
Delicious - trying some new flavours now we know how good these are! |
These also are a winner, delicious and tender, just heat and eat - yum!! |
