Monday, 3 July - South 40 Campground, Petersburg, VA

Woke very early, some cars were leaving camp around 5 am, they would be some of the permanents leaving for work. As I was awake I thought I would try my luck at the internet, hoping I could get on at this hour of the day.  I could, but it got progressively slower and slower.  Caught up on some emails, took a brief break to try and take a photo of the bright orange sunrise behind the trees beyond the paddock with wispy fog threading between the trees.

Poor rendition of the sunrise, it was much more spectacular in real life! See the fog to the left.
Eventually got to make some bookings for the next couple of weeks but it was a painfully slow exercise.  The internet comes and goes.

Spent the afternoon at the pool.  Kim changed the gears on my bike and gave them both a birthday service. I shall take mine for a burst tomorrow.  It’s 33 C again, that’s 90 F – hot!
