Cool night, it was nice and quiet after 11pm and lots of
campers had their coloured lights on, in fact some of the kids had coloured lights in their bike wheels too and make the most of dusk to show them
off.
Woke to just 18C and grey skies. Enjoyed some cups of tea while we pondered
the day. Might as well do insidey stuff
until it warms up so tackle the microwave repairs. It’s still a heavy mother! But it’s all fixed and runs nice and quiet.
There is some drizzle started, so will wait for that to
clear before we go for a bike ride to explore. Just at the entrance of the camp, not far away, is an IGA foodmarket and about
two miles down the road, along the way we came in, is a ‘Grub and Pub’. Not sure if we will get that far, it would
mean riding on the open road for a ways.
The rain sets in so we call is a cleaning day, Kim is
outside in his poncho washing the outside and I take on the inside.
Nice clean windscreen thank you! |
After a couple of hours of being inside we need some fresh
air so take the bikes for a ride. We see
our first live skunk by the dump station!
It’s white streak was dirty! We
also had the cutest little chipmunk sitting on the steps to the motorhome, but
he didn’t stay still for a photo, he scooted off real fast to the tree next
door.
